1. Accepting these terms
By submitting the beta download form, downloading, or using Shravana, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not submit the form, install, or use the software.
2. Software licenses and the Shravana name
Shravana-owned software is proprietary and may be used only under the license included with the download. Inherited code, third-party components, and downloadable models remain subject to their own licenses. These terms do not reduce any right an open-source license gives you.
Open-source permission for code does not grant permission to use the Shravana name, logo, domain, or other brand material in a way that suggests your version is an official Shravana release. See the license notices for details.
3. Your recording responsibilities
Recording laws and workplace rules vary. You are responsible for notifying participants, obtaining consent, and using recordings lawfully. Meeting detection and automatic recording are tools; they do not replace your judgment or legal obligations.
4. Your content
You keep ownership of recordings, notes, transcripts, and other material you create. You are responsible for their content, storage, backup, sharing, and deletion.
5. Optional outside services
Calendar, transcription, intelligence, and AI-app integrations are provided by third parties. Their availability and handling of information are governed by their own terms. You control which local content an AI app may read through Shravana's MCP connection and can revoke that connection at any time. Shravana is not responsible for an outside service's availability, output, data handling, or account decisions.
6. Preview status and acceptable use
The private beta may contain defects, change without notice, or lose compatibility with a provider. Keep independent copies of important recordings and notes.
Do not use Shravana to violate law, invade privacy, bypass access controls, distribute malware, or infringe another person's rights.
7. Price, taxes, cancellations, and refunds
The current invited beta is free, so there is no purchase to refund and Shravana does not collect payment or tax information. Every feature included in this release is available without an in-app subscription or feature tier.
If a paid download or subscription is introduced, the checkout will show the seller, total price, billing period, applicable taxes, renewal terms, cancellation method, and refund policy before you pay.
A payment provider or merchant of record may process payment, calculate and remit taxes, issue receipts, and handle refunds under its own terms. Any rights that consumer law gives you—such as mandatory remedies for defective software or an applicable cooling-off right—remain unaffected. We will not ask you to waive a digital-download withdrawal right unless the law permits it and you expressly agree before the download begins.
8. No professional advice
Transcripts, summaries, decisions, and action items may be incomplete or wrong. They are organizational aids, not legal, medical, financial, or other professional advice. Check important details against the original conversation.
9. Warranty and liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the preview is provided “as is” and without warranties. Shravana is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost recordings, data, profits, opportunities, or business interruption.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Shravana's total liability arising from the software or these terms will not exceed the amount you paid for Shravana during the 12 months before the claim, or US $50 if you paid nothing. This limit does not apply where liability cannot legally be limited, including any mandatory consumer right that applies to you.
10. Updates and ending access
We may change, suspend, or discontinue preview features. You can stop using Shravana and uninstall it at any time. Sections that reasonably need to survive will continue after use ends.
11. Changes to these terms
Material changes will be posted here with a new effective date. Continuing to use a later version after the updated terms become effective means you accept them.
